PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR DRAFT PLAN
The Planning Commission wants to hear your thoughts about the County’s future development policies. If you didn’t have the opportunity to comment on the draft plan at one of the open houses please look over the materials from the open house (AVAILABLE HERE) and share your views with the consultants and county officials. Please use our interactive comment forms, which you can submit until December 21st, 2009 via email or print and submit to Brandon Stidham in the County’s Planning and Development Office.

Schedule of Events
- December 21, 2009 - Deadline for submission of comments on public draft of plan.
- January 2010 - Planning Commission work session to review public comments and make recommendations for revisions.
- February 2010 - Consultants revise plan documents.
- Early March 2010 - Revised Plan posted on website and made available for review.
- Late March 2010 - Planning Commission meet for first Public Hearing in plan adoption process.
- Spring 2010 - Tentative adoption of plan by Board of Supervisors at Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing Process may result in additional revisions to the plan depending on public feedback received. Adoption process dates are tentative and Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors may take more than one meeting to deliberate the plan’s adoption.
